Terms of use
Last updated 25 October 2026.
“We” on this site means me, the person who runs direct.bio.
By signing in to or publishing on direct.bio you agree to these terms. They are written to be read, not skimmed past.
Your account and your page
You sign in with your email address and a password; a code sent to your email lets you choose or reset a password. Keep your mailbox and your password secure; anyone who can read your mailbox can reset your password and sign in as you. A page belongs to the account that published it, and only that account can change it. You must be old enough to agree to these terms where you live.
What you may publish
You are responsible for what you publish. You may only publish things you have the right to share. You may not publish:
- anything illegal, or that helps someone break the law;
- sexual content, or anything that exploits or endangers children;
- harassment, threats, hate, or content that targets a person or group;
- scams, phishing, malware, or links that lead to them;
- cheats, hacks, cracks, keygens, modded or pirated software, games or media, or links to download sites for them;
- spam, or pages made only to boost another site in search results;
- other people’s private information, or content that infringes their rights;
- a page that pretends to be another person, brand or organization.
Some words, names and link addresses are blocked when you publish. If you think a block is a mistake, write to support@direct.bio.
A page that offers cheats, hacks, cracks, mod APKs or pirated downloads is refused when you publish it, or, if it is published, found by our automatic checks and removed. A removed page is hidden at once and kept for 7 days. We email you the reason, and the next time you visit you see it on the home page. If you think the removal is a mistake, write to support@direct.bio within those 7 days and we will look at it again. After 7 days the page and your account are deleted for good.
Reporting a page
Every public page has a “Report” link. Reports reach support@direct.bio. We read them and act on what we find.
What we may do
We may remove a page, take back an address, or close an account that breaks these terms or puts the site or other people at risk, with or without notice. We may also change, pause or stop the service. If we can, we will tell you by email first.
No guarantees
direct.bio is free and is provided as it is. We do our best to keep it running and your pages available, but we do not promise it will always work, and we are not liable for losses that come from using it or from it being unavailable, to the extent the law allows. Keep your own copy of anything you cannot afford to lose.
Addresses are not ownership
Choosing an address such as direct.bio/yourname gives you the use of it while your account is active. It is not a trademark or a domain registration, and we may reclaim an address as described above.
Your content, our licence
Your content stays yours. By publishing it you let us store it and show it to visitors, in the page itself and in search engine descriptions of it, for as long as the page is published.
Deleting your account
You can delete your page or your whole account yourself at any time from the “Your account” section of the builder on the home page. See the privacy notice for what is removed.
If the service is sold
We may sell or transfer direct.bio, including the site, the published pages and the accounts, to someone else. These terms then apply to the new owner in the same way. If we can, we will tell you by email first. You can delete your account at any time if you do not want that.
Privacy
How we username your data is in the privacy notice.
Changes
We reserve the right to change, modify or replace these terms, the privacy notice, and the service itself at any time. The date at the top shows the latest version. If we change something that matters, we will tell signed-in users by email where we can. If you keep using the service after a change, you accept the new terms.
